June has been a crazy, exciting month. And its only the 15th! My mobiles are now available at the Art Machine gallery in Houston Texas.
The gallery is located in the Silos at Sawyer Yards, 1502 Sawyer Street. The building is part of one of the largest creative communities in the United States. Each month, the complex holds a Second Saturday event, where many of the artists in the six buildings open their studios to visitors. In addition to the more than 350 artists who have studios in the complex, there is an outdoor artisan fair as well. The grand opening in the newly expanded gallery space coincided with the June Second Saturday event, with more than 300 people stopping by to meet the artists and see some incredible art. Art Machine gallery specializes in emerging and mid-career Houston artists, so much of the art is reasonably priced. If you are in Houston, stop by Saturdays from noon – 5 pm.
